Do you wish your child came with a manual to help you teach them about their body and the dreaded sex talk?
One of the greatest struggles you might face is not knowing exactly what to say, when to say it, and how to teach your kids about their body and sex. Or you might be facing shame and fear that is holding you back.
What if time keeps flying by, and you keep putting it off? You wait because you don’t have all the resources you want and you don’t feel prepared. All of a sudden, either something bad happens, or your child is grown and you find yourself regretting not finding the courage sooner.
Im Mandi Nuttall, creator and author of The Birthday Suit Books.
As a former High School health and sex ed teacher, and a busy mother of 5 kids, I’ve spent years practicing, gathering resources, and interviewing over a hundred parents.
HERE IS WHAT I KNOW: The time to start prepping and teaching your child is right NOW. If they are 2 years old or 16, it doesn’t matter. They need you to teach TODAY. And often.
Rest assured, I'm not encouraging you to teach small children about sex, the goal is to wait till age 9. But think about this, when you do eventually teach your kids about the physiological mechanics of sex, if this is your first time talking about this subject with your kids, they could seriously be confused and uncomfortable and fail to have the respect and understanding they could potentially have.
For example, say your goal is for your child to understand algebra, you wouldn’t start by teaching algebra. You work up to it beginning with the simple basics like number properties and recognition, addition & subtraction, followed by multiplication & division. These concepts aren’t taught in a day or even a year. These concepts are line upon line, year upon year, so they can understand each concept enough before moving onto more complex material.
This same principle is used within the lessons prompting parents to teach anatomy, DNA properties, fertilization, pregnancy, fetal development, and delivery ALL before teaching about sex. Then when it is time to teach about penetration, you will have built a beautiful, trusting foundation together and it will all make sense to them.
Through this highly interactive, 3-day workshop, I’ve made is so simple. I will guide you step by step, age by age, each year starting with 1-year-olds, and then each year through the next 18 years. I provide only the facts, and you are prompted to incorporate your own family beliefs and values.
You will feel confident and know exactly how, when, and what to teach your child RIGHT NOW.
Join us live, or watch the replays and before the end of the workshop, you will have all resources to teach your child their first lesson. Feel confident and take the first step to actively strengthen your family bond and amend generations of shame and embarrassment about our bodies into one of admiration and respect.
